Geocache Description:

On the last day of the Cache Bash in August of 2007, a Cassia county police officer came into camp and warned us the lightening had started a fire down near Steer Basin. It was up high on a ridge but they were worried it would get into the canyon and wanted people to get going if they were headed out that way. Well we got packed up and took off and watched the fire burn on the way down to the valley. This cache site is where the helicopter was touching down to get loaded up and we happened to get there about the time he was taking off. Pretty cool to watch. There is a large place to park off the road and if you want you can drive up the hill closer to the cache.
You are looking for a square plastic container with a blue lid. Trade fair or do not trade at all. You can't complain about the terrain, Mrs. Salvager walked here with a broken arm.
