Enjoy a perfect day on one of the most perfect beaches on the Sea of Cortez side of Baja California.
The Bay of Concepcion is well known for it´s wonderful beaches, many of which are hardly ever used. They are suitable for camping or just swimming in the bay. This cache is located just off the beach called El Requeson. It is south of Mulege on Mexico highway 1 just after Playa Buenaventura.
This particular place has TWO bays, one facing one way, and another an entirely different view, both easily accessed by car. There is a small island just across the bay, which, when the tide is low, is reached by walking over a sand bar. When the tide is high, you have to get wet up to your thighs or so. Either way you´ll have to wade into the water to get to it eventually.
Across the sand bar, wade over to the left around some mangroves, then up some rocks to the island, and go up that path.

When done with the day, go over the George´s on Playa Buenaventura if you need anything.
