Canacadea state forest.
This is our first hide. Located in the Canacadea state forest. There are several ways to go after it. If you drive the dirt road located off of Erie Ave in the village of Almond you can drive to within less than 200 ft. of the cache. If you park in the pull off area on the northbound side of state Rt. 21 you will have to travel by foot through about .5 miles of rough uphill terrain which would definitely more than double the terrain rating I placed on this hide. If looking for this in the winter you will need 4wd to get to the area where you can park close to cache. It is a green small size ammo can. You will have to go into some moderately thick brush and you may have to bend down a few times, but it should be an easy find. Please re-conceal container after finding. Inside are some small old bottles, being a bottle collector I leave small bottles. There are also a few other things in cache including a foriegn coin,matchbox car and a good for a free drink token from a local moose club. For the first to find there is a chance to becaome rich, as there are two unplayed NYS instant lottery tickets also.
