The cache is a
painted powdered Gatorade container. It has a log and pencil.
It can hold small items and travelbugs. It is an easy grab on
a blue diamond trail. There is some Poison Oak around, but
there is no need to leave the trail for this cache.
Each year our school's PTA puts together an Auction to help
raise money for the school. For the past 3 years they have
auctioned off guided tours of The Hollister Hills
SVRA. This year we placed this cache during this event.
The cache is in the Upper Ranch section of Hollister Hills SVRA.
An entrance fee ($5 at time of writing) is charged. You'll need a
4X4 vehicle with pretty good clearance, and please comply with the
various park rules. The Upper Ranch is also sometimes closed for
special events, so calling ahead is a good idea.
