Located in Trout Pond Park, on Noyac Road - thirty acres of pristine woodland surrounding a seven-acre freshwater pond.
Park in the car park and take the asphalt path down toward the lake. You are about 0.25 miles from the cache at this point. The path to the cache follows the “blue trail” at first but at the back of the lake there is a delightful maze of paths through the woods with little wooden bridges over tiny streams.
From the blue trail, take the first left and cross the bridge. At your next fork, take a right turn, and then another right. At the next fork, go left. The cache is about 60’ from the trail, down a tiny side path – you will need to cross a small stream over logs to reach GZ. If you see the orange netting, you have gone too far.
Enjoy this tranquil spot with its shade and the ever present sound of water babbling over rocks. A certain amount of agility, but no bushwhacking, is needed to reach the cache. The cache is a small size groundspeak pelican container with room for logbook, pencil and small trackables.
Contents includes egyptian treasure, a coin, a pirate bug from the czech republic and a $2 for the FTF.
