Last year on the 4th of July, we placed our first Freedom and Fireworks cache on Highway 4. We decided to make this a tradition so here's #2. It is located at an elevation of approximately 8615 feet and is very near to the top of Ebbett's Pass.
Cache coordinates were kind of difficult to get here so I placed my GPS on a rock about 8 feet away from the cache. If you use your geosenses this should be an easy find.
This cache is only accessible if you are going in the Easterly direction where there is a small pull-off for you to park. If you have small kids with you, please use caution when parking as sometimes cars come by here rather quickly.
The listed terrain applies for when there is no snow on the ground. Attempting to find this cache shortly after the pass opens in the spring might be impossible or very difficult.
