Geocache Description:

This cache is an ammo can placed approximately 1.25 miles from the listed trailhead. This is a very easy walk along a relatively flat trail close to Pacific Creek. You will see a beautiful valley and the creek is very picturesque as it flows through the valley. The cache is hidden near the intersection of several trails, one of which will take you into the back end of Spicer Reservoir. Once you get to the intersection, the cache is about 150 off to the right, up the hill a bit.

The elevation is about 7569 feet.It took us about 30 minutes to hike back out from the cache site.

The difficulty and terrain rating is an estimate for the summer months when the snow has melted. It looks like it can be reached by snowshoes once the pass opens in the spring, but don't hold us to that...

There are lots of great camping spots back here. We took the Pacific Valley TH road off Highway 4 to get to the trailhead.
