I am always surprised to look out and see this island right in the middle of the Willamette.
The reason why is that it is just a sand bar, if it wasn't for the brush and trees I think it would have washed away long ago.
I thought about calling this cache Die Hard but I didn't think anyone would get it so I decided to honor the islands name instead.
Be sure to get what you need from the lid or log book while your there (it would suck to have to go back) for that certain puzzling cache up the river.
