Geocache Description:

This is a medium sized cache located in Paint Creek at Lay Lake. Warning the terrain is quite difficult.

Congrats to the FTFs
3card & JoJoButterfly

WARNING: If you choose to access this cache via land the roads you must take will pass though a hunting club so you might not want to go after this cache during hunting season!

This is a rubbermaid container with a screw-on lid, painted cammo. It is filled with all sorts of fishing goodies. It is located in Paint Creek on Lay Lake. It is on top of The Rock. This is about a 30ft high cliff that you can jump off of if you are brave enough.

Plan on getting to this one by boat and you will probably have to make a short swim unless you can get your boat right up to the bank. I know there are dirt roads that will take you to this cache but don't plan on finding it that way unless you have alot of knowledge of the area or you really trust your gps.

This will also involve a very short but steep little trail. Stop freaking out! It's not that bad I promise. As long as you don't use a walking-aide you should be able to get to this one.

BEWARE OF MUGGLES! This area is highly trafficked by lake-goers, but don't fret. As long as you don't stick out like a sore thumb you should be ok. But, If you don't feel like your sneaky enough you should go in the early morning, at night ,or during the winter. (the area isn't as popular during the winter because the water is too cold to swim)

Once you crest the top of The Rock there should be an old road behind The Rock. Once you find the old road there will be a small trail it won't bring you right to the cache but it will bring you pretty close.

HAPPY HUNTING
