Bunkeflo GEOscout är ett projekt av Bunkeflo Scoutkår, som syftar till att öka intresset för föreningsliv och scouting i Limhamn-Bunkeflo stadsdel i Malmö. Bunkeflo GEOscout #9 är placerad vid padbryggan i Strandhem.

Strandhem är ursprungligen ett koloniområde söder om Bunkeflostrand, men har på senare år blivit allt mer året-runt betonat.
Framme vid cachen har du utsikt 360 grader, med Klagshamnsudden söderut, och Öresundsbron norrut.
Rakt västerut ligger Vattenfalls vindkraftpark som invigdes den 3 juni 2008 av Kung Carl XVI Gustaf. Lillgrund är (2008) världens tredje största havsbaserade vindkraftpark, och Sveriges största med en elproduktion på 0,33 TWh per år (330 000 MWh).
Lillgrund vindkraftpark har 48 vindkraftverk som ger el till 60 000 hushåll. Totalhöjden på verken är 115 meter, och rotordiametern 90 meter. Vindkraftverken har kapacitet att snurra mellan 6-16 varv/minut, och kostade cirka 1,8 miljarder att uppföra.

"Strandhem" originally hosted small kolonial-gardens south of Bunkeflostrand, but nowdays people live there allround the year.
At the cache-location your view is amazing in 360 degrees, with "Klagshamnsudden" in the south and Öresundsbron in the north.
Further out in the sea, Lillgrund, a windmill-park of green-tech was built 2006-2007 and was started officially by the King of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustaf. Lillgrund is (2008) the worlds third largest waterbased windmillpark, and the largest in Sweden with a production of 0,33 TWh per year (330 000 MWh).
In total there are 48 windmills, supplying 60 000 households. With a height of 115 meters, and a rotordiameter of 90 meters, the mills are capable of spinning from 6-16 RPM. The investmentcost of the park was 1 800 000 000 SEK.
