Geocache Description:

Permission for placement of this cache was obtained before submitting it. Cache is not in a cemetery or stone wall of any sort.

This church is the third church in this village. The first one is actually ruins now and can be found at the cache GC1DE0K, and the second one was a wood church that was torn down when the new one was built. This church was home to a tapestry made some time during the 13th century. The original tapestry is now at the Historical Museum but a copy can be seen inside the church.

Det här är den tredje kyrkan i byn. Den första består numer av ruiner och hittas vid cachen GC1DE0K. Den andra kyrkan var en träkyrka som endast användes en kort tid och revs när den nya stenkyrkan byggdes. I kyrkan fanns förut Skogsbonaden från 1200-talet, den finns nu på Historiska Museet men en kopia finns upphängd inne i kyrkan.
