Whirled Cache and Twirly Girl, a couple of our favorite AZ cachers, will be back in Valencia County for a cache run, so...let's throw an event to meet 'n' greet them!
7:00 p.m. meet-up at Teofilo's, on Main Street in Los Lunas. We'll probably commandeer the back room, so I'll need an accurate head count. Say you're with the geocaching group.
Why so late? Why, to make the best use of daylight caching time, of course, for those of you who may want to come down before this event to clear the area of caches before you're back on Sept. 13! I'd make it later, but I'm afraid I'd be lynched...
It'll be great to see the newlyweds again, and catch up on their latest news and travels, since, sadly (sniff) they'll miss the Valencia Fun Day Event this year. They've got a pretty good reason for missing it.
Hopefully, some of Valencia County's newest cachers will make their way here and check us out.
This'll also give out-of-the-area cachers an excuse to come 'down south' and hide caches for the Valencia Fun Day Event on 9/13. (See GC1D5PZ for more info.)
Come one and all for some good New Mexican food at Teofilo's!
