Geocache Description:

As part of our, Christmas in July series, we tracked down some of Santa's Reindeer and asked them to keep an eye on some caches for us. At Santa's first 8 reindeer, you will find a # on the lid & log. Please write down this # and the corresponding reindeer, cause you will need this information to find the final cache - Rudolph.

CUPID

Cupid, Comet's younger twin brother, has always been the jokester among the group. Last year, however, his practical jokes almost got him kicked off the team when he thought it would be funny to hide all the magic reindeer dust in one of the elves sock drawers. (Long ago, Santa Claus and the elves discovered the special formula of Magical Reindeer Dust which make them fly. This dust is sprinkled on each of the reindeer shortly before they leave on Christmas eve. It gives them enough magic to fly right around the world. They can fly very fast: at about the speed of a Christmas light. The Reindeer driven by Santa Claus are the only known flying Reindeer in existence. Besides the Magic Dust, Santa's reindeer are fed a "special" diet throughout the year which helps give them the power of flight. This magic corn is given to Santa Claus by a great and wonderful unknown wizard. Through this magic corn, the strength of the Reindeer is increased threefold, their stamina increased to infinity and their hooves can manipulate the air as though it were solid ground.) Well you could imagine the whole place was in an uproar when the entire supply of magic dust disappeared 3 days before Christmas. Anyways, the reindeer dust was located safe and sound, and Cupid got a serious talking to by Santa. To stay on the team he had to give flying lessons with the Fawns of the North Pole club. He has been a little less active with his pracitcal jokes as of late.
