Geocache Description:

Three stage multi. Will require about a mile and a half walk or bike ride if you park in the coordinates I posted. Coordinates are for the first stage. It is a pill bottle with the coordinates for the second stage. Second stage has the coordinates to the final.Final is a good sized container. The first and final stages should not be too hard to find but I gave a clue for the second.

When I was a little kid I would be playing in the back yard. We were always outside because the un-airconditioned house was so hot. In the afternoon, as usual, the thunderstorms would build up. They used to scare me. I remember being busy playing and then looking up and seeing the dark clouds. It seemed like they came faster than I could run into the house. It's like the dream where you are trying to run away and you are running as fast as you can but you aren't getting anywhere. The first crack of thunder would unleash the most terrified screams. We called the storms devil clouds. I think this might have been the start of me liking scary movies and books.

All my preschool friends were girls. Lee Ann next door, Missy across the street, and Beverly who was born in the same room as me thirteen minutes before me. Our moms became good friends after that. Beverly and I were the "twins". Behind my house was a tree that we would all meet in and I would tell scary stories. Who knows what I would come up with. We called the tree the ghost tree. I think it is still there.

I couldn't think of a name for this cache. I was laying in bed last night and heard the rumble of thunder. It reminded me of the old neighborhood. So now you get to read my reminiscing.

I've been by here a lot in the last few months and finally decided to put this cache in. I've looked at several areas. Then I found what I was looking for. If you're here on a summer afternoon beware of the devil clouds. They can bite.
