Geocache Description:

You are looking for a 20 gallon barrel chucked full of stuff! PLEASE READ THE INSIDE OF THE LID! The kids will love the very large container but bring your bug spray!!! Please park just off of the driveway at N 36° 42.605 W 088° 36.241 so that any farm equipment can get through while you are out there. This cache is placed with permission of the land owner, Ed.

I had a cache here before but decided to archive it because of the bigfoot sighting! CBS News was there and everything!

Over the 4th of July weekend I armed myself and a friend and went to claim the containers for the multi cache (GC14Y4J). When we arrived we hoped that the sasquatch would not be there after all of the fireworks and all. We thought that with all of the celebration that it might have headed for a better place to hide because this section of woods is fairly small. All seemed to be going as planned as we gathered the various containers. Then out of no where it showed up just as I was going to pick up the ammo can that was the final container. It seemed to drop from out of the trees and snatched up the ammo can and ran about 20' away from me. My friend was watching from a little ways away and snapped a picture, of the sasquatch as it turned to look back at me, with his cell phone.

Because he was too busy taking the picture I had to act fast to get it to drop the can. I though I would do the area a favor and drop that sucker like a bad habit so I drew my pistol and pulled the trigger. BUT IT JAMMED! So I rared back and chucked my GPSr and it and smacked it square in the head. It just bounced off so I turned to run but noticed the sasquatch dropped the ammo can and then it dropped to the ground as well. Right on it's butt! I could not believe the GPSr knocked it out cold and it didn't. Then I noticed a tear roll from sasquatch's eye and then the balling started. I guess I hurt it's feelings. I thought about it and realized that it meant no harm and just wanted ti participate in the game we love so much, GEOCACHING. I sat on the ammo can and settled sasquatch down and tried to communicate with him. I don't think it understood me but at least the loud crying was over! Then out of no where it tweaked my nose and tried to poke me in the eyes stooge style but I whipped up my hand and stopped that from happening. It took off running and I chucked a good size stick, I found on the ground, at it and the stick tangled up in sasquatch's feet sending him face first on to the ground. It just laid there like I gave it a permanent dirt nap! I went to see if it was alright. Just as I got to it, it slowly turned over and sat up. It stood up and held up it's hand for a high five as it laughed. I slapped it the high five and then it walked off out of the woods and into the corn field. We could not believe it! I guess sasquatch likes comedy like we do! We waited around to see if it would return so that we could get our picture taken together but it never came back.

So! I placed this cache in the other's place to commemorate the event and I hope that you can run into it and be part of the fun as well. Enjoy
