This Cache is located on the 2.2 mile, Thunder Ridge Educational Hiking Trail. Parking is located near the trail head. The coordinates are N39° 08.483, W095° 25.882.
The cache is a loaded amo box located at the top of a rocky hill, and can be a challenge when wet or snowy.
This trail is a fun trail to take kids on. You can pick up a info sheet at the trail head or the main gate to Slough Creek. You can also stop by the main gate to claim another prize for completing the hike!
There are 30 stops along the way where you can learn about your sroundings and I have placed the cache right at 16.
Bring lots of water when hiking on this trail! The terrain can wind you fast so breaks are necessary.
You can access the hint only from April 16 through October 15. If you go outside of these dates youll have to hike it.
