A Place You've Never Been Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

yawlog: After 9 years a lot of people have now been to "A Place You've Never Been" so it's time to say goodbye. To all who have visited, I hope you enjoyed it and to the clowns who feel stones, bottle caps, a lolly pop and business cards are trade items, they are not. The game is if you take something, leave something that someone else would want to trade not a piece of junk you found on the ground.

Geocache Description:

One thing I enjoy is visiting an area while Geocaching that I have never been to before. As you find more and more caches, and unless you expand your search, the new areas become less and less.

I decided what a better way to celebrate my 650th find then to hide a cache in a spot, that as far as I know, no other cache had been placed.

I drove around and checked the satellite maps looking for that unknown ball field or park. Then I remembered of a place not far from work that we used to play softball.

That place is called the Marvin F Wagner Memorial Park, an unfortunately little used Green Acres site located off Route 322 in Cecil. It is perfect. Plenty of places for a hide. No muggles. And unknown.

Cache is a medium jar with no bushwhacking. Park entrance is between power lines.

Hopefully this park is NEW to every Geocacher.
