We were led to this park by Cavecrew when they hid "Under the Tree". We decided that we are going to frequent this park to get back into good physical shape.
We figured that since we are going to be here a lot, we might as well throw out a cache here too.
We have noticed in our short time of Geocaching that people really like key-chains and karabiners. So, we figured we hide a cache filled with different types of these sought after goodies. Please leave a key-chain or a karabiner if you take a key-chain or a karabiner. Thanks.
The walk from parking to the cache is 0.14 mile (as the crow flies). We made the terrain rating a 2.5 because there are 2 ways you can approach the cache.
We have learned from recent, bad, expierience...before you walk through that mud (should you decide to take the "low road"...poke it with a stick first to see how deep it is before stepping.

There are a ton of great reasons to go visit this park...
-3 fishing lakes (catch and release only)
-Walking trails (no bushwacking required)
-Picnic pavillions
-2 volley ball nets (sand included)
-Excersize stations throughout the walking trails
-Gazeebos
-Fishing dock (again, catcha bd release only)
-BBQ grills
-Lots and lots of picnic tables all around
-Bathroom
-Good hiking
-Plenty of parking
-Turtles in the lake are very big (and fun to watch)
-Ducks (don't forget the bread)
Be sure to thank Patricia, if you see her. She has done all of the beautiful landscaping there.
While you are there don't forget to hunt "Under the tree" (GC1DG0Y). It has cool goodies in it too.
