Geocache Description:

The cache is not far from the triangulation point on top of Birkrigg but can be accessed with a short walk from the road. Great views all around, fells in one direction and the sea in the other.

Birkrigg means a lot to our Scout Troop, over the years they have played wide games on it, walked over it, practiced night navigation on it and gone geocaching on it!

This is the first cache that the Troop has placed and was placed during the evening of one of their Troop nights.

As well as the normal treasure type things to swap there should be a bag containing a collection of Scout/Guide badges, please only take a badge if you are swapping it for another Scout/Guide badge.
