Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden where two sister states Latvia and Lithuania meet on the Baltic Sea.

Expect to walk for an hour either from Nida in Latvia or Sventoji in Lithuania, enjoy the beach. Forget your car, try not to ruin dune magnificense with a motor sound and smell. A fine was a little over $100 if attempting to cross the border at this point without a permit. Not anymore.

Some of the metal boards from monuments got stolen by recyclers or collectors though. One of the monument in the Latvian side is totally destroyed. Also, the triangulation benchmark that I saw back in 2004 is missing.
