Geocache Description:

A substantial hike through the Delaware State Forest. Hiking boots and long pants are recommended. About two miles round trip.

According to people who can remember this area in the late sixties, there came a couple of hippies who thought they would build a log cabin way back in the woods and live off the fat of the land. Well, apparently the land wasn't all that fat after all and this is all that remains of the dream.

From parking location follow Hi-line road north to a two-track trail on the left. After a bit the trail becomes single track and eventually goes the way of the hippies and just fades away. Pack a snack and a drink and stay a while, but don't forget to carry it out too. The cache expires and will be removed in July, 2011. Thanks go to Ranger Shearer for his help.
