Just behind the Toledo Swimming Pool is a nice developed trail climbing a hill into nifty woods, The Waterleaf Trail. From the trail you can get a view of the Swimming Pool, Skate Park, and Library.
I began working out in the pool in 2000 and since beginning caching, I wanted to place a cache there to remember all the hours getting “wet!” The pool tank was dug and opened in 1948 and in the early ‘60’s the existing building was built to provide year round access.
The Skate Park was built in 2005-06 to provide more activities for the children of the residents. It is a wild and crowded place after school and on weekends!
YahotsWalker has spent quite a bit of time reading in the Library that was built in 1975, waiting for me to do my water aerobics so we can go off caching without wasting too much gasoline!
There is a LOT of tree coverage, so the coords will get you within about 10-15 feet along a well established trail. Use your GeoSense for location and reach from the trail to grab the cache. There is NO reason to tramp around in the foliage because the 3 X 4 lock-n-lock is right at the edge of the trail.
