Geocache Description:


Mrs. V's grandmother and great grandparents lived in a farmhouse across the road. The farmhouse is long gone but the family stories are still here. One story my grandmother told always had us laughing. She was one of the younger siblings who always got stuck walking the older siblings friends home who stayed after dark and were afraid to walk past this cemetery and the other down the road. The younger kids got tired of having to be the ones to walk them home. A couple of them hid in the cemetery with sheets and waited. My grandmother was the one who walked them home that time and watched as the others jumped out from behind the stones. She said the visitors screamed and ran for home. They never stayed after dark again.
Bring your own pen as this is a micro. Please be respectful. The cache is not hidden on or near a headstone. Some of the stones aren't readable anymore, but we saw where one person died in 1825.
