"Wolf Creek Indian Battle Site"
The marker says: "Wolf Creek Battle Site" 1838 In this vicinity was fought the last General Tribal Battle in which the Kiowa's, Comanche's, Apache's, Arapahoe's, and Cheyenne's participated. June 1838. I have not been able to find anything else out about this battle. If anyone knows more about it, please pass it along.
