Round Lake County Park is a great to place to visit for a picnic and for swimming. Round Lake County Park is a day use only park, and closes at 10 p.m., so night caching is not allowed here. Round Lake County Park has a great natural beach, and is located on the shores of 216-acre Round Lake, in northwestern Chippewa County. Drinking water, picnic tables, restrooms and a changing area is available.
For this cache, you will walk along the edge of the lake on the abandoned roadway, that looks like it was abandoned several years ago, though my maps show the road to be still here.
