Geocache Description:

The cleaner alley in order to go to the beach of Schinia.
Thanks to the private initiative, because if you wait from the authorities or from the most of the visitors of the so called National park, you will wait until the next Olympic Games that will become in Greece!!!
I am sorry for the preface but that's the true.

Anyway the "National park of Schinias" where in 2004 were build the Olympic Rowing and the Canoeing Centre is a unique ecosystem in Attica, including a forest, a beach/coastal dune system and a marine area.
The coastal town of Schinias is situated very close to the settlement of Marathonas, on the east coast of Attica, only 45km away from Athens.
The long beach is one of he most beautiful spots with the pine trees reaching the sea. It is the perfect choice for families with children, since the waters are very shallow.
If you want to reach in the beach from the cleaner path you have to find the small alley of grandfather.

If i gave you the coordinates from where it begins it would be very very easy. Instead of them I give you a spoiler photo. It will help you in order to find the start of the path.
If you visit this cache in summer time you will find a marvellous bay for swimming.

P.S. And don't forget, when you come away not leave nothing yours in the beach.
