The Original Boat Launch Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

kclough: I went to do maintenance 2 times---and couldn't find my own cache! So I am archiving it---I see a lot of people couldn't find it, and I'm afraid the trees are playing tricks on the GPS...c'est la vie.

We will hide another one soon.

Geocache Description:

Quick park-n-grab from anywhere around the OP Town Baseball fields....quick walk thru to Green Lake is worth the 10 minutes extra...

In the early 1900s, philanthropist Harry Yates invested in thousands of acres of land in Orchard Park. He
created Green Lake and donated it, along with the surrounding property known as Yates Park, to the community. It became Orchard Park's principal recreational facility, presenting an unrivaled setting for residents to relax and enjoy summer activities. Green Lake, the focal point of the Park, offers a sandy
beach, sailing, swimming and fishing.

***Originally the class placed this in a location next to the "boat-launch" as you might expect from the title; however before I could even log the hide, it was vandalized! I guess Green Lake is officially too Muggled to hide any more caches.
