Moving away from the road the walk continues to a location I've known for many years.
Over a decade ago I lived within a few hundred yards of this cache, I remember the view from the bedroom window well with cattle grazing in the field, across the fields Church Gresley sat on the horizon.
While we were still living there the fields were converted into new woodland, this particular area is known as Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Woodland.
The woodland is establishing itself well and is quite unique. Three Bosnian Pines represent Princess's work with the land mine clearance campaign in Bosnia, the Children's Glade signifies her charity work with children and the Touch Trail includes species with soft, colourful and fragrant or unusual foliage.
An area close to the cache location features metal rose arches which were designed by Chris Camble and represent the Princess's place as 'England's Rose'. If you are completing the whole Church Castle Series this could make a great spot to sit down and take a break (coordinates listed below)
The cache itself is a medium to large tupperware container, please re-cover well.
