Years and years ago, before interstate highways, before all the hustle and bustle of todays life there was a world of Americana that was totally different than we know today. Funny thing is, it wasn't all that long ago. Dad CCrew can remember passing this place as a young boy on his way to visit family in Front Royal, and to be honest is surprised to see this place still standing - and expanding still. Sure, some have words for it; kitschy, campy, cheesy are names thrown out there, but somehow this place has endured. Locals we're sure have seen it, old timers sure remember it, but those that haven't seen this will have to admit, it's a throwback to a "simpler" time.
This wasn't designed to be a brain teaser, nor an "evil" hide, and is indeed a cute place to take the little ones. There are no moving parts among the exhibits, no blinking lights, no videotaped explanations and no rides to bring the place alive—just the fired-up imagination of every child who steps through the entrance.
