This is the 1st cache in a 3 cache series I've placed in an area
I've always wanted to explore in a newly annexed area of Black
Mountain Open Space Preserve. Even though you can't even see Black
Mountain for most of the hike, this area is part of the BM preserve
and follows Lusardi Creek to the West. The trail is under utilized,
and a peaceful 3 mile R/T walk along the babbling creek if you find
all three caches. Best access is to start at the recommended
parking area, thoughtfully provided by the Del Sur developers.
Head up the access road to the top of the hill to find this
cache.
Cache should be an easy find, especially with the hint. Cache is
a new container type I'm trying out, about the size of a peanut
butter jar. Be careful when extracting the cache and wary of snakes
