Geocache Description:

This cache is an ammo box near the southern end of Lake Shelbyville.

Park in a small gravel parking lot at N 39° 26.390' W 088° 44.728' and take the grass trail that heads northwest. The cache is a small ammo box with the word "GEOCACHE" painted on each side in yellow. It will be safe if the lake gets high, but may be harder to get to.

Most of the hike in is on a wide gently sloping grass trail, but the last part is bushwhacking.

The coordinates should be very accurate, but feel free to post any differences you find. This is the first cache I have placed. I hope you enjoy looking for it as much I enjoyed placing it.

Original contents include: Swiss army knife, duct tape, golf balls, Coca Cola keychain, panfish flies, fuzzy dice, and a little GPS food.
