This cache is located near the parking area, no hiking required
to find the cache.
Since you have traveled this far, you should plan on hiking up
the canyon to the oasis. It's a short hike, great for kids.
Just 15 minutes from San Carlos' scenic boulevard, the
spectacular oasis of Nacapule Canyon can be found surrounded by the
arid desert landscape.
The canyon has a length of 1.6 kilometers and its pysical and
biological characteristics gives to it a unique tropical character
as an evident tourist and recreational attractive.
It has diverse flora and fauna only found in this unique place,
where where giant cactus and exotic palm trees live side by
side.
With a backdrop of copper rocks, exotic palm trees guide you
down the path of the canyon. The underground quietly flows and
occasionally springs to the surface through cracks and crevices,
exposing fresh water springs and gentle waterfalls.
This spiritual and inspirational place will bring you at one
with nature.
