Between the Parks is my first attempt at hiding a cache. The Fitz family has enjoyed visiting both of these great parks, and I wanted to place a cache that would help others discover the parks as well. The cache is a medium sized ammo can that has been stocked with kid-friendly trade items. Please keep the kid-theme in mind when trading items (if you wouldn't give it to a five year old, please don't put it in the cache). The location is very easy walk that is no more than 0.2 miles from either parking location. Also, the cache is only a few feet off of the trail, so there is no serious bushwacking required. A reasonable amount of stealth could be required on weekends, and in the winter when foliage is nonexistent. Please be sure to re-hide the cache well, and have fun!
Restrooms (which are generally very clean) are available at both parking locations.
Park is available year round from 8am-Sundown
NOTE - I've reactivated the parking coords on the WOW side of the park. Please note that the parking is very limited, and that it is primarily intended for the use of those utilizing the dog park. During peak times and good weather the other parking coords may be your best bet until repairs are completed on the WOW playground (approx 4/09).
