These Caches exist, but the cache page may have been archived by Grounded Inc. For an explanation see Robin & June's Geocaching Page
The "Richmond Park" Geocache is hidden a pleasant walk into this "typically English" large London Park, full of wild deer and other wildlife. It is the usual Lovelock large tupperware box with instant camera - to take a picture of yourself, books and toys for children, calculator, and lots of other low value "goodies".
The best approach is probably to enter the park through Richmond Gate, in the north west corner. Then turn right to travel south until you reach the Pembroke Lodge Gardens free car park at N 51° 26.594' W 0° 17.579' where you will also find toilets and refreshments. A visit to Pembroke Lodge Gardens can also be made. You then make your way towards Pen Ponds.
This is a great opportunity to see wildlife including the deer, which seem to tolerate us humans quite well :-) Read the warning notices about not approaching too close when the males are "in rut" - those antlers look as if they might do some damage ! This stag is guarding the cache ;-)
