The Cave
The cache is not at the given coordinates. Satellite reception is absent inside The Cave. The coordinates above will get you to the west entrance.
The cache is hidden in the highest rock at the entrance to the darkest part of The Cave.
The Cave can be accessed by a boat, canoe, kayak or inflatable air mattress. Whatever the mean used, always remember to check tides and currents before you head out on the water.
For those you plan to reach it by non-motorized forms (i.e. canoes, kayaks or inflatable air mattresses), the closest and easiest access is from Benagil beach (east side).
If you want to fully enjoy your visit to The Cave, we recommend that you do it preferentially between mid-morning and early afternoon (11:00 am - 3:00 pm), when the sunlight penetrates directly from the top opening, creating an interesting local contrast between light and shadow.
