Geocache Description:

Access from Halldale High is quite easy. From Middle Street , Hallowell is more difficult

This cache is on the Vaughns Woods Nature Trails. Easiest access is from Halldale High School. Park near the tennis courts. Follow the fence on the left of the courts. Take the trail uphill to where the trail forks. Take the right trail to a secondary trail on the right. Downhill to the cache on the right. There is a ledge in the trail. Where the ledge ends the cache is 12 paces to the right.

You can also access from Middle Street in Hallowell. After crossing the bridge, the trail forks. Take the left trail to a meadow. Continue on the trail to where it reenters the woods again. Uphill to a secondary trail on the left. Downhill to the cache on the right. There are several other caches along these trails.

New cache is a natural object with a match container placed in it.. Just a log so BYOP.
