Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Old Fredericktown Cemetery!

This small cemetery has many old graves from some of the first settlers of Fredericktown! Even my ancestors, the first who came to America from Germany, are buried here (see the additional waypoint). This cache is on the small side of “regular” but you shouldn’t have any trouble finding it. It is a lock-n-lock container. PLEASE hide the cache VERY well!

The cache is right on the edge of the cemetery. Note the fallen stones around it...sadly, this cemetery wasn't always so well taken care of and gravemarkers have lost there place over the years. Can you find the two tombstones of Revolutionary War soldiers (though, rumor has it, they aren’t actually buried here)?

I would recommend parking off the road beside the cache. Not much traffic on this road. There are houses close by, so stealth is required! Have fun!
