This fun fishing hole is named Big Lake, but in my opinion isn't really all that big - I guess it is just a matter of opinion when it comes to the name.
Regardless if the name of this place is fitting or not, Big Lake offers some good fishing and this cache was placed near a couple of nice camping spots. My son and I couldn't understand why caches are few and far between in this area with all of the traffic the area gets. We came here to do some camping and decided that a cache was sorely needed. We improvised with a small plastic container with a screw-on lid that we had with us, but plan on switching it out in the near future with something larger. Bring your family, fishing poles, tent, and have a good time!
