How far you get will depend on the time of year and your
vehicle.
The parking coords given are for the start of 1B which is a little
more than 1/3 mile to the cache up on top of a ridge known as
Lowden Mountain.
Nice panoramic views from on top.
You will even get good cell coverage as you have a good line of
sight to the cell tower in Hill City.
Plenty of raspberries and wildflowers on the way up. Of course,
that also depends on your date of attack.
