Geocache Description:

The picture of this muskie has been stretched so much like the urban legend story and this cache page, that it as well is also becoming a bit blurry.

72" MUSKIE

**********

Some may have heard about this socalled 'geostory telling fishing urban legend' of the 72" Muskie being caught in the Yough, while sitting around listening to the BS at some of the local event caches, but only Mooman56 knows the real story and for some reason he's just not wanting to let the real story out of the caching bag.

Is it for real...
or is it just some sort of legend?
You decide...

I think it may have been caught on up past MOJO ISLAND, and downstream from TRINIDAD FALLS, but I don't think he wants anyone to know that either.

So I headed up this way in search of the area of the 'fish of a thousand casts' to place a cache in its honor. But, that only turned into finding the area for the
'cache of a few hiding spots'.

Is this muskie still swimming in these nearby waters?
Or has it really been caught?

You will have to come see for yourself and then maybe or not you will know whether this story is real or legend.

But if by some chance you ever meet up with Mooman on the geocaching trail before you do this cache, don't be afraid to ask about this. Maybe someday we will all know the truth of the 'geostory telling fishing urban legend' of the
72" MUSKIE.

************

The 'geofishing lure' that may have caught that ole 72"er.

************

Cache is a plain ammo can, but there is something fishy looking about it, with swag items of a fishin' theme.
Please trade accordingly and fairly,
or do not trade at all.

**********

Cache is located just off the Yough River Trail, somewhere between MOJO ISLAND
and (a place some call) TRINIDAD FALLS
near THE THREE SISTERS.

So if you're ever up this a way muskie fishing, which will be highly unlikely, or better yet, caching on the trail, why not stop by and give this cache a try.

**********
GOOD LUCK, HAVE FUN
and as always
BE SAFE

This cache is dedicated to...
Mooman56

Just something to show you my appreciation for all the help you give, Jon. And a big thanks to MaMaMoo for sending me that photo. hehehe.
