Back in 1979 a bunch of buddies gathered at a small park in Jacksonville for a high school reunion. Roger came in from that new development called “Deltona” and pulled up right next to him. CPO Duke came in from Mayport, followed by Bill who pulled up alongside him and started complaining how the traffic on the Howard Frankland Bridge had delayed him. He was followed shortly by Tom from St. Augustine and then Mark from West Palm Beach. Next to arrive was Joe from Daytona Beach, followed shortly by Frank who was happy to get off I-95 having driven all the way up from Miami.
