Geocache Description:

This was our very first cache ever hidden! Recently renamed Diamond's Cache as I wanted all of our furry kids caches to be near each other. Dog friendly area, be sure to check yourselves and your geo-dogs for ticks. 4/7/25 this one was missing and has been replaced with a small rubbermaid container, about the size of a small piece of fruit. Please note coords N 042 55.101 W 088 18.982 and please enjoy this most precious gem!

This was our first cache ever hidden, recently renamed Diamond's Cache as I wanted all of our furry kids caches to be near each other. After our senior girls Maddie and Barkley passed, our remaining senior girl Zipper was pretty down, bummed out, grieving her sisters and depressed. Some might have thought not to add a puppy into the pack with our 16 year old Zip. But Zip took D dog under her wing immediately and quickly and affectionately became known as the "mama dog" filling that role to puppy Diamond. While in turn Diamond gave Zip a renewed sense of youth, spunk and life! Best decision ever!! Our Diamond is a true gem...the best of all of our girls combined! :) She is absolutely amazing in every sense. She likes to do most everything and loves most everyone! And who would've known at the time just how much she would heal my heart. Enjoy this cache as much as we are enjoying and love our Diamond Hope! Open the door, get on the floor, everyone loves our Diamasaur! This area of the marsh has a lot of prairie land surrounding it and wildlife abounds. The path you will take from the parking lot is the woodsy side. Hope you enjoy the trek! The area is dog friendly. Be sure to check for ticks.
