The well groomed, wide, hardpack surface wanders through stands
of pine, past the dam, across Deer Creek footbridge, areas of open
brushland, and quiet, mixed hardwood forests. Walborn Reservoir
encompasses more than 2,000 acres and provides the perfect escape
for mountain bikers, equestrians, hikers, canoeists, and kayakers.
Under a cooperative agreement with the City of Alliance, Walborn
Reservoir came under the jurisdiction of the Stark County Park
District in 1998.
Contents when placed, include, AA batteries, box of crayons,
Ohio Canal's Geocoin, various small toys, TWC patch, 'fun'
shoelaces, caribiners.
