Geocache Description:

Eighth in a Series of Eight.

As part of a Series, each cache has a number in it, please record the number and corresponding cache and include that in an email to the owner. FTF prize goes to the first one to correctly identify the magic number associated with each cache plus their sum for the series.

This series reflects places that we enjoy on Okinawa and shockingly enough did not have a current cache. Plus, much like the Red Heeler the series is named after, it is somewhat eclectic and definitely fun! You will find beaches, Gusukus, and serene nature places.

Will post hints after FTF as these are not really challenging for some of the legendary cachers on Okinawa.

NOTICE: Bring your own writing instrument!

Had always wondered what this thing was, especially since it is clearly visible from miles, and from many caches. Park that is below it must have been awesome in its heyday, but sadly seems shortly destined to join the ranks of the "Crappy Parks Series" these days. Seems the urban planners just build news parks when the others need repair. Hey, being an American I cannot criticize urban development of others given how we let Wal-Mart abandon buildings at will.

View is, of course spectacular and have fun on the trails and in the park. Plus, whenever you drive on the Expressway, or Highway 58, or one of the other half-dozen major roads that can see this spot, you know you will have been there, which is cool in itself.

This concludes the series, and now we await the first with the correct answer to win the FTF-prize. Hope you like it, but the real prize was in geocaching on Okinawa, always its own reward.

Cheers!
