Geocache Description:


August 1st of 2008 marks the last day of work of me. I have hidden this cache to commemorate the start of my retirement, after 35 years of employment with the Provincial Government. Coincidently, this is my 35th cache hide.

The coordinates will take you to a beautiful waterfall in Goldstream Park. Decend the stairs and enjoy the waterfall. Now the work begins...

  Not in play are the cement pads, stair platforms or tree roots.
  Steps are in the ground, stairs are above ground.
  Sets of stairs are separated by platforms or steps.
  Count from the bottom.

  AA =   All steps minus all stairs
  B =   Square root of the number of steps in the 3rd set of steps
  CC =   Add step set 3 to stair sets 1, 2 and 5
  DD =   subtract step set 1 from step set 2

  F =   stair set 5 + step set 3 - step set 2

There is a bench at the top of the 3rd set of stairs if you need a place to rest while doing your calculations. To avoid giving away the hiding spot to muggles, examine the cache away from its location. Please replace cache and the covering material as found.

Parking is now free in BC Parks and there is available parking immediately past the entrance kiosk at the campground.
