While at the The St. Maries airport, we enjoyed reading this sign about a famous local aviator and knew it was a prefect place for an Ace and Fly Baby cache. The cache is an oversized film container.
NOTE: when we placed this cache, there was an active bee's nest in the Guardrail...BEWARE, the cache is NOT THERE because of the bees!
This airport is quite pilot friendly, with camping allowed on the field, fuel, a nice pilot's lounge and 3 courtesy cars, ready to go.
