This cache has been archived.

Dragonfreys: Due to some recent upgrades at this location the geocache is gone along with the whole structure it was hidden on. Perhaps the red chairs will become geocaches in the future.

Geocache Description:

A favourite Riding Mountain spot for many people for many reasons.

The first stage of this cache takes you to large compass rock rose. From the centre of the rose project a point 43 m in the direction of the eastern stone. That is where the final is located, and there is only a logbook in the cache so be sure to bring something to sign the log with.

The Wishing Well - Erik Hall lined the well with round stones in the 1930s and a stone arch bridge was added in 1935. Bogey Creek's cold, bubbling spring made this a favourite destination for "wishers" and a beautiful setting for weddings. Legend has it that if you toss a penny into the crystal clear water and make a wish, it will be granted and you will never need to worry about death or taxes. In the early years the coins were donated to the Red Cross and now they support the local historical society. (from RMNP 75th anniversary brochure)
