Geocache Description:

Placed by the two 'Critters of Chaddsford' (SteelJaw_Hyena and SiberTyger) this is a fairly simple cache-n-dash. Should be friendly to pets and kids, as long as you mind the large and very busy road.

The cache is a fairly simple one, a small Rubbermaid sandwich box filled with all sorts of odds and ends. Some of the first items include a couple sharks teeth, a bunny bookmark, a little address book, a giant paperclip, a mini cassette tape, a fake Discover card, tiny clothespins, a stack of Amazon.com Post-It notes, a bead necklace, and a very shiny log book. Please make sure you hide the cache well when through, since this is close to a busy street. Watch out for muggles and cars!

The cache was lost on 8/4/08, and replaced on 8/6. The new cache has improved labeling. The new contents include-

4 Glow in the Dark Stars
2 Shiny Black Marbles
Black Toy Car
Yellow Suction-Cup ball
Pearl Beads
Geode Slice
Mini-Bead-kit
...and a special 'Medal' for the new FTF!

Cache was replaced again on 9/11/2011. Due to a poor container and a lot of rain, the cache flooded and the contents were pretty much destroyed by water. Cache has new logbook, new items (that include some more sharks teeth, a golf ball, shiny rubber snakes, a token, a carabiner, a goldfish, a horseshoe trinket, a gold medal and much more) and is now in a more waterproof container.

Chaddsford Critters is back as of 6/6/2015! The container was destroyed and replaced by another cacher, and then the recent wet weather got it again. The new container should be waterproof and the location of the hiding spot has changed. Even if you've found this one, it may be fun to try and find it again. As of this writing there's some spooky skeletons, a goldfish, some glow in the dark stars and the travel bug Julia's Penguin along with the log book (you'll need your own pen or pencil). Good hunting!
