Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in a very environmentally sensitive area. Please respect signage, no dogs off leash etc. it is a heavily by law policed area. It is a wet area, in the winter it may be hard to access the cache. The walk to where the cache is, is nothard, but you will have to descend and climb back up quite a slippery area to grab the cache. Please try not to disturb growth or animals in the area. There is clear path to the cache.

There is a FTF pin, some small trade items etc. The container is a small camo decon, PLEASE make sure it is snapped (it needs to actually snap) or it will leak. :) When you place the cache back please mind the water level, no need to have the cache go for a swim!

The view is gorgeous, there is a look out station which you can enjoy while there also.

This cache location is one of the hides Pharmadude placed during the Vancouver Transit traveling cache times. He assigned this one to me when I let him know I would like to be part of the memorial cache project.

For more info about the Vancouver Transit Cache see below.

Another in the series of caches remembering Vancouver Transit. Vancouver Transit (GC19D6)was a “traveling cache” and one of the most popular caches ever to hit the lower mainland. Once found, the cache finder would pick up the entire cache and re-hide it in a new location, somewhere in the Greater Vancouver area.

Vancouver Transit is no more, but Pharmadude thought it would be great to memorialize the stops it made along the way by placing permanent caches where the TRANSIenT ones once lay. Everyone is invited to join the Vancouver Transit Memorial Project (VTMP). Contact Pharmadude for more info.

From September 2001 to August 2004, Vancouver Transit made over 150 different stops, each one lasting anywhere from a few hours to a few days before moving on to the next.
