Welcome to Geocaching the Tour de Paris! This series is a work in progress, but as of right now there are 12 geocaches placed along the 40K route of the bike route for the Tour de Paris.
Each year our family, MCcbMavericks, bike this route the 3rd Saturday every July. This year we decided to put two of our hobbies together by adding geocachers along the route.
We did our best to place each cache close to a place where you can pull over and park so you don’t have to stop in the middle of the road. Some of the roads have more traffic than the others, so beware of muggles in cars and nearby houses. The majority of the caches are in film canisters but there are 3 small ones one of which is magnetic. A few of the caches have some camouflage hiding them better, so please replace the camouflage as good or better so the next cacher will have the same challenge as you.
We hope you enjoy this series whether you do them all at once along the route or here or there.
